Being Thirsteen is trying to read a book, but carefully positioning yourself so that you can see a certain someone over the top of your book.

Being Thirteen is talking to the object of your crush about your crush, by pretending that you are talking about a crush on someone else.

Being Thirteen is working out how to doodle your crush's initials on your notebook without them looking like you are doodling their initials. Some people's initals can look like flowers or some kind of abstract design.

Being Thirteen is that little leap you get in your heart whenever you see that a certain person is online.

Being Thirteen is telling someone that you like them, and then running away.

Being Thirteen is exhausting. I am glad I am not Thirteen very often these days.
